No, this is not a Black Friday deal or a holiday season shopping discount from Apple but it is from AT&T. AT&T is selling the refurbished iPhone 5 units for as low as $99. Excited? The Texas-based carrier has listed refurbished Apple iPhone 5 models starting from $99 for 16GB unit, 32GB unit for $199 and 64GB unit for $299. The phones are available in both black and white colors, however there some restrictions for you to actually avail the low priced refurbished iPhone 5s. You need to be either eligible for an upgrade or a new customer and sign up a two year contract with AT&T, so if you fulfill all the requirements then you probably shouldn’t wait to get yours.
It is quite unlike that the refurbished iPhone 5 has showed up in the market just after two months of its release in September. When the iPhone 5 released it was expected that the refurbished units will hit the market, not at least before January. It is also been said that the refurbished ones will cost just $50 less than its original price, which is near $600 for 16GB model. So considering the original price of the iPhone 5, $99 price with a 2 year contract with AT&T is something that you shouldn’t miss at all.
